Background

I have been in the Nail industry over half my life, and still enjoy it. I work hard everyday at my career and although sometimes challenging, I love every minute of it.

I personally have been teaching nail technology since 1983, for most of those years I have been using the Spa One product on my own clients, and have come to the realization that people would love to do their own nails from home, but their only option was 'Department store brands' which are far below the quality of Spa One products.

Through much negotiation, I was able to become a distributor of Spa One products, and formed the company “Get Nailed At Home”

I have written and copyrighted many training manuals on related topics in the health, Beauty and Fitness areas, which I use at the Education Center.

I have been featured in many publications and is on the cover of a book produced by the Government of Saskatchewan called "Starting A Business in Saskatchewan". I was also featured on a four part special (TV) program called "Making Your Dreams Come True". Today I am still asked to speak on those topics.

I currently own and operate a Private Trade School in Victoria, BC. To date have graduated many students who are currently working in the industry.
